Obstacle course

Grade 1 student Jamisen Johner winds her way through an obstacle course of traffic pylons while tester Ken Kot looks on during the bike roadeo on Prairie Avenue Monday morning. St. Dominic Savio Elementary School was the first school to take part in the annual bike roadeo, which continues until Friday, May 16. The top winners from the Weyburn roadeos will later compete against Estevan's top winners in a bike safety contest in June.

Snowflakes in Oz

A row of Weyburn Comprehensive School students wear snowflake masks to represent a sudden snowfall in this scene from "The Wizard of Oz," which the students were rehearsing on Thursday afternoon. The annual Comp musical kicks off in just two weeks, with the first production on Wednesday, May 28. For ticket information contact the school office.
