Harry Kapusianyk, a member of the Weyburn Skating Club, was recently honoured by the Saskatchewan Figure Skating Association for his years of service.

Kapusianyk, who is a qualified Canadian level accountant, received the 2003 Section Official award at the association's annual meeting in Saskatoon.

He has been involved in accounting for the figure skating club for over 30 years and has won the top Section Accountant award twice before. He has also served as a gold figure judge, and has been qualified to judge in senior silver dance and senior bronze freeskate.

Kapusianyk's term of service has included two years as section chairman, four years as the Accountant's Chairman, and two years as a member of the national board.

He has worked many competitions throughout the years, including several Canadian championships. He has also been the chief and computer accountant for the Weyburn First Invitational since its inception more than 10 years ago.
