Setting up for the Oil and Gas Show

Crew members with Courage Oilfield Services help set up a service rig on the Weyburn exhibition grounds, in preparation for the 10th biennial Saskatchewan Oil and Gas Show. The exhibition opened this morning, June 4, and will run until 5 p.m. Thursday, June 5, with seminars on throughout both days. At the opening ceremonies this evening, the Oil Patch Awards will be presented, and the Petroleum Services Association of Canada will hold a pancake breakfast on Thursday morning from 7-10 a.m.

RCMP opens store-front office

RCMP Const. Janel Matt, Midale town administrator Linda Dugan and Const. Maureen Wilkie show the sign which will go up at the town office when the police members will be there to hold a store-front office. The office was first opened on May 26 and will be open to the public on the last Tuesday of every month from 1-4 p.m. in the town office. The service was offered at the request of the Town of Midale.
