The clash

Two teams in the third heat of Sunday's competitive river Riverboat Festival in River Park collide, dunking all the members of the women's team in the Souris River. From the left are Del Mondor, Heather Gordon and Donnita Maas, Darren Larson, Judy Lumb and Reg Zackrisson. Nine teams entered the third annual festival, held as a fund-raiser for the Family Place. The Guys, as the men's team was named, won that race.

Medieval fashion show

The Fuego Pajaros group show off their medieval costumes during a fashion show as part of the Medieval Olympics at the Weyburn Junior High School on Thursday. Justine Kwochka, Dale MacNaughton, Amanda Kot and Nadine Adderley perform a pole dance as they display their costumes.
