Entries are now being accepted for a charity golf tournament on Sunday, July 6, which is raising funds to purchase a fetal heart monitor for the obstetrical unit of the Weyburn General Hospital.

The tournament will be held at the Weyburn Golf Club. There is an entry fee of $60, which includes golf carts and a Greek supper. Tax receipts will be entered for $30 of entry fees.

Tee-off time will be at 1:30 p.m. with a shotgun start. The format of the tournament will be Texas Scramble/best ball, and all ladies golfers will receive a two-stroke bonus.

There will be a number of prizes for hole-in-one shots, include cash prizes of $10,000 and $50,000, as well as one car and an ATV.

There will also be one hole where golfers can bet $5 to $20 and double their money if they land on the green with their first shot.

To top off the day, there will be prizes handed out for first place, second place and most honest teams.
