Grooming for the judges

An intermediate team from the Fillmore-Francis 4-H Beef Club groom their entry to team grooming competition at the Weyburn Fair on Monday. The team includes Devon Grieve, Wendy Eberle and Brent Nostadt. The fair opened Monday and will wrap up tonight, July 2, with the completion of the 4-H competitions, other cattle and horse competitions, races and grandstand entertainment and the fair's midway which will be open until late this evening.

Credit Union celebration

Bob Smith gives a thumbs-up with the Credit Union Fat Cat while standing in line for lunch at the Weyburn Credit Union barbecue and street carnival on Friday afternoon. Hundreds of people showed up to help the Weyburn Credit Union celebrate its achievement of accumulating $200 million in assets with a party on Coteau Avenue.
