A number of regularly-scheduled events and activities were held at the Wheatland Seniors Centre in the past week, with the following results.

In bridge on Monday, Marion Brown won first, Barb Fellner came second and Jim Brown placed third. On Friday, Stan Sampson won first, Nancy Day was second and Neva Schultz placed third.

In trump whist, Elsie Postey won first, Neva Schultz was second and Peggy Hallam placed third.

Winning first in canasta was Arvella Soroka, with Martha McFadden in second and Eleanor Roy in third.

In hi-low whist, Josie Johnson and Elmer Peterson won first, followed by Herb LaBatte and Walter Fowler in second, and Alice Myer and Rose Flamont in third.

In cribbage results from Friday, Alice Myers and Rose Flamont won first, Mabel Nicholson and Edna Clarke in second, and Elmer Peterson and John Wanner in third.

In kaiser, first was won by Neva Schultz and Frances Dreger, second went to Fred and Kay Groshong, and third was Paul and Kay Wanner.

Coming up at the centre is the month-end supper on Friday, July 25, featuring barbecued hamburgers.
