Batter up

Christian the Clown (Rev. Randall Harriman of the Weyburn Church of God) assumes a batting stance during a game of baseball at the church's Vacation Bible School at River Park on Wednesday. The Church of God put on the week-long Bible School in conjunction with the Weyburn Gospel Assembly, using a tent donated by Bob Olson set up at the park.

Having a look at Jupiter

Amateur astronomer Brad Hala shows a group of Haig students a look at the planet Jupiter through his 110-millimetre telescope. The students were having a sleepover in the school gym, and a highlight of their evening was to look through the telescope. A nearly-full moon was also the object of the students' curiosity.
