Two members from the Tyvan-Francis 4-H Club attended the second annual Yorkton Light Horse Show

Jacklyn Gaetz and Hayley Moats traveled to Yorkton on the weekend of Aug. 16-17 to compete in various categories

On the Saturday, they attended the opening ceremonies where all the 4-H clubs represented walked in with their banners. The drill team, Friends by Choice, from Regina, coached by Don Moats, put on an entertaining show

Both girls placed in various classes. Hayley took second in all her speed events, and her team earned the most points overall. Jacklyn won reserve Junior high point and reserve Grand Aggregate

Every participant went home with a door prize. On Saturday night they held a karaoke night on the grounds, and all the participants tried out their vocal skills

The horse show was a success and was enjoyed by all, despite the extreme temperature.
