Weyburn golfer Rick Hallberg wasn't able to make it past the Monday qualifier for the Bell Canadian Open.

Hallberg shot an 81, 10 over par, at the Hidden Lake Golf and Country Club in Burlington, Ont. Fellow Saskatchewan golfer, Lindsay Bernakevitch of Regina, shot a 67 and qualified.

Hallberg was among 155 golfers on the field, with only a few advancing to the Open, which runs until Sunday, Sept. 7, in nearby Hamilton.
