Weyburn Comp Eagle Brendon Vertefuille gets stopped in his tracks by three Martin Monarch tacklers during Saturday's home game at Darold Kot Field. The Eagles won by a razor-thin margin of 17-16, though Martin nearly tied the score up in the last few plays of the game.

Explaining a printer's art

Weyburn resident Bob King shows part of a barn poster, an extra-large version of a circus poster that would be plastered onto the side of a barn prior to a circus coming to town, while sharing information about his grandfather Andrew King's show print business at a reception on Sept. 12. An exhibition of the King posters, all printed by wooden blocks, was displayed at the Allie Griffin Art Gallery until Sept. 23.
