The Weyburn Comprehensive School's drama club has set their dates for their fall production of M*A*S*H. Performances will be held at the end of the last week of November. The club will try something new by having a matinee on Saturday, Nov. 29.

Members of the WCS yearbook staff attended a workshop in Regina on Friday, and 12 members of the debate club attended a workshop at Regina Luther College on Saturday.

There will be a general meeting for the Weyburn School Music Auxiliary on Wednesday, Oct. 15 at 7:30 p.m. in the library.

The football team will play on Friday in Regina against F.W. Johnston, with game time at 5:45 p.m. This will be their final league game of the season. The Eagles' undefeated streak came to an end on Saturday with a loss to Regina Miller, but the team will be in the playoffs Oct. 23.

The annual Red Coat Trail volleyball series with Estevan starts today, Oct. 8 in Estevan. The return matches will be held in Weyburn in late October. In the second home volleyball tournament of the season for the girls, the black squad finished second and the red squad finished third. Both teams were defeated by Balgonie.

The boys volleyball team finished third in a tournament in Swift Current, and girls soccer team had a 1-1-1 record in their home tourney. The girls soccer team also defeated Moose Jaw Peacock in a league game on Thursday. This week the girls will take Kennedy and Caronport in exhibition soccer matches.
