War Mother shares memories

Dorothy Allen, chosen as this year's War Mother by the Weyburn Legion, displays two handkerchiefs sent to her by her brother Norman Johnston from Europe during the Second World War. She has preserved these, along with letters sent her family by her two brothers, Norman and Kenneth. Behind Dorothy can be seen the photos of brothers-in-law Mark and Hugh Allen, at left, and brothers Norman and Kenneth Johnston.
