Comp to hold fowl supper, fair

Many activities are planned during November at the Weyburn Comprehensive School, including the 10th annual fowl supper on Monday, Nov. 24.

A career fair will be held on Thursday, Nov. 27 when over 60 institutions, businesses and professions set up booths and make presentation for the high school students and parents in Weyburn and surrounding communities.

The final monthly highlight is the fantastic, funny presentation of the popular stage play, M*A*S*H, with performances on Thursday and Friday, Nov. 28-29 at 7:30 p.m. A Saturday matinee is scheduled for Nov. 29 at 2 p.m.

Four members of S.A.D.D., Amanda Brock, Megan Hill, Amy Neill, and Andrew Pilon along with supervisor Linda Aitken, attended the provincial conference in Saskatoon this past weekend.

This Friday, the Grade 12 art class will go to Regina to visit some galleries. The mid-term report cards will also be issued on Friday.

On Monday, Nov. 10, the teachers will attend a professional development day so there will be no school either Monday or Remembrance Day on Tuesday, Nov. 11.
