Schools around Weyburn have a full schedule of band concerts and plays set for the month of December.

The St. Michael Junior High School junior, jazz and concert bands will perform their annual Christmas band concert on Tuesday, Dec. 9, at 7:30 p.m. The concert will be held in the school gym.

The Weyburn Comprehensive School will hold its annual band and choral concert on Wednesday, Dec. 10, starting at 7:30 p.m.

Students Against Drunk Driving (SADD) will hold a Family Fun Night tonight, Dec. 3, in the school cafetorium. The event will be held from 6-8 p.m.

Weyburn Junior High School will hold its annual band concert on Thursday, Dec. 11 at 7 p.m. A small admission will be charged.

Haig School will hold two performances of its Christmas concert. The K-3 concert will be held Tuesday, Dec. 16, and Grades 4-6 concert is on Thursday, Dec. 18.

Both concerts start at 7 p.m. Admission is a non-perishable food item or a toy to both concerts.

Souris School will present two short plays at its Christmas concert on Wednesday, Dec. 17, starting at 7 p.m. Division No. 1 students will present "Holiday Zoobilee" and Division No. 2 students will present "Slapshot Santa Scores Again."

Assiniboia Park Elementary School will hold its Christmas concert on Wednesday, Dec. 17, starting around 7 p.m. Admission is a donation of a non-perishable food item for the Salvation Army.

Queen Elizabeth Elementary School has slated its Christmas concert for Thursday, Dec. 18, at 1:30 p.m. The alternate date for the concert is Friday, Dec. 19.

St. Dominic Savio Elementary School will hold its Christmas concert on Thursday, Dec. 18, starting at 7 p.m. at the Weyburn Comprehensive School.

Admission is a donation of a non-perishable food item.
