Jesus is
the reason
for the season

(The following is the Christmas message from the Weyburn Ministerial Association, written by Rev. Catherine Harper of All Saints Anglican Church.)

A wise man once said, "Christmas is the joyous celebration of eternity's intersection with time."
As we read in Galatians 4:4, "When the fullness of time came, God sent his son, born of a woman."
May you have a blessed, hope-filled, peace-full and joy-full Christmas.
To paraphrase St. Augustine, may you rejoice in the fact that:
- The maker of man was made man;
- The bread of life came and was hungry;
- The fountain, thirst;
- The way of life was weary;
- The judge of the living and the dead was judged by a mortal judge;
- The vine, was covered with thorns;
- The foundation of the world was nailed to a tree;
- Strength was made weak, health was wounded;
- Life, died (for sin, and rose again)
Just for you!
Jesus is the reason for the season. Have a blessed Christmas.
