Three members of the Weyburn Red Wings have been picked for the Sherwood Conference All-Star team, who will play the Dodge Conference All-Stars in Melfort on Sunday, Jan. 25.

Greg Park has been slotted to defence, Jereme Tendler has been slotted as one of four centres and Shayne Emmons is a winger.

Weyburn had the second-fewest number of players on the All-Star team, with only Estevan contributing fewer players. Melville led with seven players on the All-Stars.

Three Red Wings' rookies have also been chosen for the Sherwood Conference Prospects team, who will play the Dodge Conference Prospects just prior to the All-Star game on Jan. 25.

Matt Wheeler has been put on defence, and Peter MacDougall and Jordan Stevenson have both been chosen as wingers.

The Prospect teams' coaching and training staff have also been pulled from the Red Wings.

The SJHL All-Star and Prospect Game will be held at the Northern Lights Palace in Melfort, with the Prospect game at 2 p.m. and the All-Star Game at 5 p.m.
