Happy Valentine's Day

Grade 4 students at Queen Elizabeth Elementary School display the Valentine bags they made Monday afternoon to hold their Valentine's Day cards. The bags will be filled with cards from friends and classmates this week in anticipation of the most romantic day of the year.

Award-winning painting

This painting, entitled "Homage", won first place in mixed media category at the sixth annual Snow Show art exhibit in Derry, N.H. for artist Amber Ward, originally from Weyburn and now of Nashua, N.H. The painting, part of a series of themes on this tree, was done in acrylic and ink, and measures 10X10. This was her first exhibit outside of college; the show featured works by 36 other artists in various categories.
