Kinettes hold Telemiracle lunch

Students of St. Dominic Savio School file by to pick up their hot dog lunch served by members of the Kinettes Club of Weyburn on Thursday. The proceeds of the lunch, which totalled just over $900, was given to Telemiracle, which was held over the weekend to raise funds for the Kinsmen Telemiracle Foundation.

Music festival tunes

Weyburn Junior High students Carissa Richard, Quinton Roelfsema, Joel Molder and Sydney Shultz rehearse two songs, The Silver Scepter and Ayre and Dance, in preparation for the Weyburn Music Festival which begins Monday, March 15 and the Optimist Festival scheduled for Friday, March 12, in Regina. The Grade 7 students will perform as a quartet in the Weyburn festival but they will join the concert band in the Optimist festival.
