Anna Semen and Kaley Mahaffey were the top placers from the Weyburn Cobra Wrestling Club at the Cadet/Juvenile Nationals this weekend, with Semen placing fifth (60 kilogram weight class) and Mahaffey placing sixth (65 kilograms).

There were six wrestlers from the Cobras competing at Windsor, Ont., in the Cadet/Juvenile Nationals, which wrapped up on Saturday.

Mike Fenwick placed seventh in his class, Brian Lunde finished in the top 10, Brett Semen in the top 15 and Andy Hodgson in the top 25.

Both Semen and Fenwick lost crucial matches in overtime that would have significantly improved their standings.

The Cobras were among 800 plus wrestlers attending the Nationals from across Canada.
