The Lomond 4-H Beef Club held its monthly meeting on April 5 at the Tribune Hall, where club members received their supply of 4-H cookbooks.

If anyone is interested in buying a cookbook, at $15 each, please contact a club member. The club also received their new bunnyhugs.

The club members discussed their demonstration day and achievement day.

The Weyburn Regional Judging Competition will be held on July 5. The committee for the competition is asking the local 4-H clubs for donations; the Lomond club decided to donate two hotel rooms.

Members were also informed about scholarship deadlines, a farm safety day and the "Wise-Up" weekend, and had a handout about the beef industry today.

The club members then had a feast of pizza.

The next meeting will be held on Monday, May 3 at 7:30 p.m. in the Tribune Hall.
