Marilyn Charlton of Weyburn was elected to a two-year term, while producer Grant Alexander is now serving his second year of a two-year term. Both were elected as Executive-at-large for the executive. The president is Larry Brack, a Holstein breeder from Saskatoon. The fiscal year-end for Canadian Western Agribition showed a profit from operations of $57,026 from revenues of $2.85 million, despite fears of the impact of the BSE crisis on the annual show. Attendance figures for the six-day event was 140,000, which is on par with the five-year average. The 2004 show dates were set to run from Monday, Nov. 22 to Saturday, Nov. 27 at Regina Exhibition Park. |
