The Weyburn Co-op Midget AAA Beavers have been 3-1 in their past four games.

On May 10 in Weyburn, the Beavers hosted the Regina Pacers for a 13-3 victory. In the first inning, Gerad Fox walked, Parker Cameron singled, Mat Larson walked and Devin Ledingham got the RBI. Troy Miller then singled for another RBI.

In the second, Fox singled and Cameron doubled for the RBI. Larson then hit a single for another RBI. Brennan Luffman tripled for an RBI and then scored on an error.

In the fifth, Weyburn added six runs. Bucky Schneider got on first on an error, Thompson was hit by a pitch and later scored on an error.

Preston Shupe singled for an RBI, Fox and Cameron walked and Larson got first on a fielder's choice, getting an RBI.

Ledingham walked and Miller singled for two RBIs. Schneider and Thompson walked, giving Thompson the RBI.

Larson and Adam Wilson pitched for Weyburn.

On Saturday in Weyburn, the Beavers hosted the Moose Jaw Cardinals for a doubleheader. They won the first game 4-2.

In the first inning, Cameron walked and later scored on an error. In the third, Miller walked and Ledingham singled for the RBI. In the fifth, Cameron walked and scored again on an error. Miller singled and Ledingham singled again for an RBI.

Ledingham and Luffman pitched for Weyburn.

In Game 2, the Beavers lost 10-3. In the second inning, Will Morris singled, Tyler Vargo walked, Cameron walked and Morris scored on an error.

In the third, Schneider got to first on an error, Ledingham singled, Morris walked and Thompson bunted for an RBI.

In the sixth, Evan Schultz walked. Cody Butterfield, Parker Cameron and Miller all singled, giving Miller the RBI. Thompson and Schultz pitched.

On Sunday in Moose Jaw, the Beavers defeated the Canucks by a score of 9-4. In the first inning, the Beavers opened six runs. Cameron and Larson were hit by pitch and Cameron stole home.

Ledingham and Miller singled, with Miller getting an RBI. Ledingham stole home, Schneider was hit by pitch and Thompson singled for two RBIs. Wilson rounded off the inning with a two-run double.

In the third, Thompson was hit by pitch and Luffman singled, allowing Fox to single for two more RBIs.

One final run came in the fourth, as Cameron singled, Larson walked and Miller doubled for an RBI. Moose Jaw got all four of their runs in the fifth.

Cameron, Vargo and Wilson pitched for Weyburn.

The Beavers have a home game tonight, May 19, at 8:45 p.m. and another on Tuesday, May 25, at 7 p.m. Both games are at Tom Laing Field.
