Members of SADD (Students Against Destructive Decisions)
gather together at a wrecked truck parked at the corner of Government
Road and Second Avenue, right near the Weyburn Comprehensive
School. This display serves as a reminder to students to make
safe driving decisions, and was set up last week, just in time
for the Victoria Day long weekend. The truck came from Southside
Auto Wreckers, and was towed to the school by Lost Child Towing.
Standing in the back beside the truck are teacher advisors Linda
Aitken and Jodi Abel. Standing in the back of the truck, in the
back row from left to right, are Brittney Gibbons, Amanda Brock,
Amy Neill, Sara Nikolejsin, Tony Elig and Zac Chartrand. In the
front are Megan Hill and Niki Smith. SADD was formerly known
as Students Against Drinking and Driving, but has changed its
name. |
