A still summer night

The Souris River acts as a mirror to reflect the lights and the Soo Line Historical Museum on a still warm night Friday, in this view from River Park. The evening was warm with little breeze and no threat of rain, a rare sight in the Weyburn area in the last few weeks.

At the sound of the air horn

Racers in the boys' 800-metre race take off from the starting line after Mark P achiorka lets go a blast on the airhorn during the city-wide Hershey track meet on Thursday. Athletes from all of Weyburn's elementary schools were on hand for the track meet, with the grounds still showing signs of the heavy rainfall Weyburn has received in the previous three weeks.
