Fiddling around

Shavonne Munro, dressed as a princess, plays the fiddle as court jester Sarah Snelling looks on during the Medieval Olympics at the Weyburn Junior High on Thursday. The annual celebration of medieval life included a variety of games and displays of castles, weapons and students dressed in medieval garb.

Comp art show

A portrait of singer Christina Aguilera, by Janelle Mazurkewich, is put on display at the Weyburn Comprehensive School art show, where Frieda and Bonnie Lillejord are in attendance Wednesday evening. The annual showcase of student artwork across a variety of mediums was open to students for most of the school day and to the general public in the evening.
