Volunteer Melissa Renz grabs a bed pallet stacked
outside the Weyburn Comprehensive School and carries it inside
to be wheeled to one of the many classrooms being used as dormitories
for the 2004 Saskatchewan Summer Games. The Athletes' Village
was set up from Wednesday to Friday at the Comp and Queen Elizabeth
Schools, to handle the 1,800 athletes expected for the week-long
event, which runs Aug. 8 to 14 in and around Weyburn. |
