Heather van der Breggen reflects on her plaster sculpture
depicting the faces of the cultural events committee of the 2004
Saskatchewan Summer Games. She and the other members of the committee
all contributed to this sculpture by doing plaster masks of each
other, though two members are represented with casts of their
hands and feet only. Though it will not be part of the competition,
this sculpture will be featured in the Zone 1 Peoples' Choice
Exhibiton, which is being shown at the Allie Griffin Art Gallery
(located in the Weyburn Public Library) for the duration of the
Games. |
