The Weyburn Agricultural Society will host provincial 4-H judging on Saturday, Aug. 21 at the exhibition grounds. Judging begins at 9:30 a.m. in the new barn in the northeast corner of the grounds.

Forty-eight competitors from the six 4-H regions in the province will bring their animals to be judged. The regions are Prince Albert, Saskatoon, Lloydminster, Whitewood, Swift Current and Weyburn.

Five species, beef heifers, swine, sheep, dairy heifers, and light horse, will be judged.

The eight winners chosen will go to Agribition in Regina in November.

An awards banquet will be held on Saturday at 5 p.m. in the curling rink with the awards presentation at 6 p.m.
