The Weyburn Young Fellows Club will host its 29th annual Harvest Fling on Saturday, Sept. 25, beginning at 8 p.m.

The event will be held in the Weyburn Curling Rink.

One of the organizers, Darcy McCormick, said Thursday that 800-850 people usually turn out for the cabaret. "It's a good time," he said.

Singer Stephanie Thomson, who just released her second CD in Regina last week, will perform.

Cost is $12 per person for advance tickets only. Hot food is available during the evening.

McCormick said the event is one of the club's major fund-raising functions in the year. "All proceeds go back into the community."
