Weyburn area farmer Charles Wilson stands with his
Nash in the midst of a bumper crop of wheat on his farm just
north of the city, in this photo taken in 1952. Today the legacy
of Wilson is his silver and antique collection, housed in a special
room at the Soo Line Historical Museum. This is an example of
celebrating life in Saskatchewan over the course of her first
century; the Weyburn Review invites readers to submit photos
they have that likewise celebrate the growth and expansion of
their family and life in the Weyburn area, as part of our celebration
of this province's Centennial year. |
