At the toy lending library

Angie Neuberger and Paula Jacob pose with their baby daughters at the toy-lending library run by the Early Childhood Intervention Program (ECIP), which is now located at 15 Sixth St. N.E. Both mothers have sons who benefit from the services that ECIP provides, such as this toy-lending library. Saskatchewan celebrates the efforts of the organization with Provincial ECIP Week this April 25-29. For related story check out the April 20 issue of the Weyburn Review.

Weyburn Christian Academy donates to Salvation Army

The students of the Weyburn Christian Academy present a $100 donation to Capt. Raelene Russell of the Salvation Army on Wednesday. This donation represented a small portion of the proceeds from the academy's monthly luncheons; the students made the donation as a tithe, to be put back into the community for their support of the academy's fund-raisers. The Weyburn Christian Academy is located at the Signal Hill Arts Centre; anyone interested in enrolling may call principal Randall Harriman or registrar Margie Fox to arrange a visit. From left to right are Brendan Ryan, Tyler Gallinger, Lauren Ryan, Ryan Gallinger, Rachel Ryan, Michaela Klassen, Catherine Ryan and Kayla Gallinger.
