The Weyburn Red Wings watch the action on the ice during one of their recent exhibition matches against Bismarck, N.D. The Red Wings have played a number of exhibition matches in recent weeks to prepare for the 2005 RBC Royal Bank Cup, which begins Saturday, May 7. As the host team, the Red Wings were automatically entered into the Cup and many players have been anxiously anticipating the tournament since the beginning of the 2004-2005 season. Learning to care for the Earth

Kindergarten students are dwarfed by a giant balloon of the world, as leader Sean O'Connor shows them what Earth looks like from space, and talked to them about how to care for our planet. The balloon, which reached to the roof of the gym at Assiniboia Park School, was on display for the day on April 19 as part of Earth Day celebrations at the school; Earth Day itself was held on April 22 across Canada.
