Pig scrambling

Although the eyes of the crowd are elsewhere, a pair of competitors in the "pig scramble" attempt to corner and then bag their own piglet at the Creelman Fair on Saturday afternoon. The scramble is an annual feature of the Creelman fair and one of its biggest draws. Despite the foul weather, the "Biggest Little Fair" went ahead as planned this year.

Sawing fallen trees

Artie Hennie saws a branch off of a tree that has fallen in his yard in Yellow Grass following the storm that hit the town on Wednesday night. Hennie was one of the hardest hit by the strong winds with his yard covered in fallen trees.
