A fund-raising steak night in support of the Evans family of Weyburn will be held on Thursday, Aug. 18 at Fitzgerald's Pub.

The supper is by advance tickets, at $12 each, available only through the Weyburn branch of the Royal Bank.

There will be two seatings, at 6 and 7:30 p.m., and there is limited seating; a second night may be set up if there is enough interest. People can also buy coupons for a steak dinner with no expiry date, so they can be used at any time.

The family was recently involved in a fatal accident, in which Jessica Evans was killed. Her husband Ken Evans and their baby remain in hospital; the fund-raiser will go to the family to help out with any expenses.
