Bike choppers

Brock Struthers, Dallas Cossar, Logan Roysum, Matthew Budney and Braden Rudy are 14-year-old Weyburn kids who started chopping their own bikes last summer. Good year for farmers

 

Norm Flaten shows how high his special White Spring Wheat has grown in his field about 17 kilometres west of Weyburn. The White Spring Wheat is new type of grain that is currently being researched by Agriculture and Agriculture Foods Canada. It is being grown under a contract with the Weyburn Inland Terminal. So far crops are looking good, but now farmers are worrying about frost. There was a threat of frost Friday night but luckily, it never came.
