The Weyburn Humane Society held their annual meeting at the Hill Top Manor on Wednesday to discuss the past year for the group.

President Dave Frayn gave his president's report to those in attendance to provide the board members an update of how the society is doing.

"It was not a bad year all the way around, kind of an average year," said Frayn.

Secretary-treasurer Dalene Breault also gave an update of the Humane Society's financial situation in the treasurer's report.

At the meeting, it was agreed that all of the executive board members would remain in their position for next year. Dave Frayn will remain the president while Kelly Eddy will stay as the vice-president and Dalene Breault will be the secretary-treasurer.

At the meeting, the members of the Humane Society addressed the issue of needing more new members. They were hoping to attract a few more new members at the meeting but, at the moment, no one has come forward to join.
