Anne arrives at Green Gables

Anne (Kendra McCallum) takes her hat off shortly after arriving at Green Gables, as Marilla Cuthbert (Janine Beahm) is unsure about whether she will keep the red-headed orphan girl. This is a scene from the Canadian classic, Anne of Green Gables, which will be staged by the Comp School in the Cafetorium with evening performances on Friday and Saturday, Dec. 9 and 10, and a matinee performance on Sunday, Dec. 11.

A Silent Night at the Carol Festival

Members of the Weyburn Quota Club line the front of Grace United Church with candles as they lead the congregation in Silent Night, to finish off the Sunday evening performance of the club's Festival of Carols. There were six groups in the afternoon and eight in the evening for the 52nd annual event.
