Keeping the South Weyburn Comm. Centre alive

South Weyburn is preparing to hold its 103rd consecutive Christmas concert on Wednesday, Dec. 21, the longest-running community Christmas concert in Western Canada. Everyone is welcome to attend the concert, which starts at 7:30 p.m.

Lions and Lioness Club donation

Members of the Lioness Club donate various items and money to the Family Place on Dec. 6 at the Family Place. In the front row from left to right are Zac Hoffman, Ty Neuberger, Chloe Weiss and Samantha Weiss. In the back row are Lesley Fletcher from the Lioness Club, Jan Frayn from the Lioness Club, Angie Thiel from the Family Place, Linda Rudachyk from the Family Place, president of the Lioness Club Mavis Fletcher and Marg Leavens of the Lioness Club. The Weyburn Lions and Lioness Club took a collection at their Christmas party and donated it to the Family Place. The Lioness Club also donated a cheque for $200.
