Clowns meet Molly the clown pony

Kali Moule holds the bridle as clowns Nivay Haupstein and Kylee Adacsi say hello to Molly, a pony dressed up as a clown, outside Queen Elizabeth School on Friday. Molly belongs to Kali's daughter Sarah, whose Grade 1 class had Clown Day on Friday. The class had their faces painted by Bob Satre, and the children played clown games in the gym in the afternoon.

Reaching for the rebound

Weyburn Comp Eagles player Sheena Tessier, 4, reaches her hand over an Estevan player for the rebound as teammate Milessa Peterson, centre, is also in the fray, during the girls' portion of the historic McLeod Series. The home-and-home series began in Weyburn on Jan. 17, with the girls trouncing Estevan 72-27; the Weyburn boys were defeated 71-60, so Weyburn holds the overall lead going into the second half of the series, to be played in Estevan on Feb. 8
