Trying to pass the ball

Souris player Darian Pridgeon hangs on to the ball while looking to pass it, as Haig defenders Veronica Hislop, Angie Hallberg and Meg Manko all look for the chance to steal the ball. This was part of the action between the girls' basketball teams at Haig School, playing after school on Wednesday. The games are held to help the girls improve their skills and learn about the game, so no scores were kept of the action.

Kiss the Brown Bunnies

Two dogs (Justin Chuckry and Tiffany Golden) watch as the hunter (Nicholas Travis) confronts two cockroaches (Taylor Molde and Chantel Cooke) who are posing as brown bunnies, during the play, "Kiss the Brown Bunnies." This was one of three plays presented by the Grade 4 and 5 Drama at Assiniboia Park School on Wednesday evening to their parents and friends. In this play, the two bugs bet the two dogs they could get someone to kiss them, and they then setup a sign, "Kiss the brown bunnies" as they held fake ears to their heads. The hunter told them, "I'm hunting wabbits."
