Viewing exhibit with the artist

Artist Chemaine Lai and curator Jessica Telford look at one of the exhibits of Chemaine's work at the Allie Griffin Gallery at the Weyburn Public Library. A reception was hosted for Chemaine on Friday evening at the gallery, where she talked about her work. This particular exhibit is a collage of many "end pieces" from developed film, where most of the exhibits were single examples of end pieces.

A 'Homegrown' talent

Candace Shirkie performs a baroque piece on the flute, during one of her two performances at the Rotary Club's "Homegrown" talent show on Friday evening at the T.C. Douglas Centre. She also sang and danced the song, "New York, New York", and was accompanied on both pieces by Colleen Weimer. The evening's program included dancers, recitations and a male chorus.
