Creating an eclipse

Shanice Underwood uses a flashlight as the sun on her model of the moon and the Earth, to show how lunar and solar eclipses occur. This was one of dozens of science displays at St. Dominic Savio for their science fair on March 7. Parents and friends toured through the exhibits that evening while community judges also scored the exhibits, with medals awarded at the end of the evening.

Passing the biscuit

Weyburn Red Wings player Sean Bassingthwaite throws a saucer pass towards the front of the Yorkton Terrier's net during game four their Sherwood Conference semi-final at the Colosseum on Thursday. Yorkton was able to even up the series after the fourth game of the best-of-seven series with a 4-3 win after double-overtime.
