Lining up for the bike roadeo

Sgt. Marcel Roy takes down the name and pertinent information of Grade 4 student Ketter Hoium, as Grade 5 students Kirk Kater and Dilan Bachorcik await their turns, at the start of the bike roadeo on Thursday morning at Assiniboia Park School. The city police visited all the elementary schools in Weyburn over the past week to hold the roadeos, along with parent volunteers, to test the students' knowledge of the rules of the road and road safety, as well as to check over their bicycles for safety. A group of Grade 12 students and special education students from the Weyburn Comp were also on hand to help out with the roadeo.
