Viewing Midale's Moser collection

Marcelle Waite views some of the extensive Moser Collection, the centrepiece of Midale's Souris Valley Museum on Main Street which marked its 40th anniversary of the annual Threshing Days on Saturday and Sunday. The Moser building was open along with the museum, and the Heritage Village where the antique tractors took part in a parade and a threshing bee was held on both days. There was also a pancake breakfast each day, and fried dough and saskatoon pie were served at the Heritage Village.

Silver Seals Pups swim meet

Pups swimmers jump into the pool during their swim meet at the Leisure Centre on Wednesday. The children competed in events such as the life jacket front crawl, noodle breast stroke, freestyle, and tube relay. At the end of the day, the winners received trophies and ribbons. The Silver Seals Pups consist of swimmers at the pre-competition level.
