Meeting the Mini-Go students

Mini-Go students Latisha McArthur, Emily Bender and Riley Smiley have a chat with Sask Party leader Brad Wall, who toured the Family Place facility on Wednesday morning with MLA Dustin Duncan. Wall and Duncan saw the full facility and what programs are held in each area before meeting with the Family Place's board of directors to talk about their need for further funding from the government.

Trying to score on the side

A player for the Weyburn WIT Wings attempts to stuff the puck in through the side of the net, while the Lumsden goalie puts his blocker on the ice to prevent any such move, during a game at the Colosseum on Saturday afternoon. While Weyburn was initially down 2-0 after the first period, the Wings came back and were leading 5-3 by the second period, going on to win the game by a score of 10-4.
