A winter wonderland

The magic of hoar frost covers everything with whiteness as the sun comes out with a brilliant blue sky on Dec. 11, alongside the Souris River and two of Weyburn's wheat sculptures. The conditions were just right with high humidity from an ice fog overnight and in the morning that covered everything with the frost to create a winter wonderland as people prepare for the upcoming Christmas holiday.

WJH participates in Clash of the Cans

Members of the Weyburn Junior High Student Activity Council presents a donation of 6,427 non-perishable items to Greg Forness, morning show talent for Magic 103.5, on Thursday in participation of Operation Magic. In the two weeks that the WJH participated in this competition, they collected 3,091 and in their last day of the competition they collected an additional 3,336 beating their two week donation record. All the items donated by several Weyburn businesses and organizations to the Operation Magic went to the Salvation Army Food Bank.
