Story about Alzheimer's disease

Alzheimer Society of Saskatchewan member Laura Chapman reads a story about Alzheimer's disease to Grade 3 students at St. Dominic Savio School on Jan. 19. This presentation is part of a province-wide program to educate children about the disease. Chapman talked to the students about what Alzheimer's disease is and what they can do to help someone with the disease.

Battling for the ball

Haig School and St. Dominic Savio School girls basketball players Brianna Kjarsgaard and Olivia Lenferna battle for the ball during their game on Thursday at St. Dominic Savio School. Watching the action are Alex Roettger, Shaniya Yung, Kaitlyn Turner Tristyn Lautner and Josie Folk. Haig School will have the early part of next week to practice while St. Dominic was in action on Tuesday afternoon.
