The Weyburn Atom AA WIT Wings traveled to Regina for a league game on Sunday to face the Hurricanes. Weyburn came out and played a team game beating the Hurricanes 4-1.

Carver Krafchuk played a solid game and picked up the win in goal for the Wings. Regina opened the scoring at 6:40 of the first period; after that Weyburn shut the door on the Hurricanes. Jack Flaman scored with just 38 seconds remaining in the first to tie the score at one, with an assist going to Daniel Fellner.

Rhett Williams made the score 2-1 in favour of Weyburn at 8:21 in to the second frame. Reece Williams scored a shorthanded marker with an assist from Flaman at 15:22 of the second period.

Flaman took any wind out of Regina's sails by scoring with two seconds remaining in the second. Ketter Hoium picked up the assist.

The Wings improved their record to 10-0-1. Weyburn heads to Pense on Saturday, Feb. 3 for their next game against the Regina Stars.
