Grade 4 students Kelsey Hennig, Ryan Gall, Lane Doud and Sarah Doud show off the large table-top model of buildings in a display about the Holy Land (Israel) the grade just had a unit of studies on. On Thursday, the two Grade 4 classes combined to share a Holy Land feast, featuring olives and various fruits that are grown in Israel, such as melons, grapes and oranges.

Demonstrating BizPal

MP Ed Komarnicki gives a quick demonstration of the new BizPal service to Weyburn-Big Muddy MLA Dustin Duncan and Mayor Debra Button, following the launch of the service at Weyburn City Hall on Monday morning. The three levels of government all worked together to bring the Internet-based service to Weyburn, one of the first communities in Saskatchewan to do so. BizPal streamlines the process of obtaining permits and licenses needed by the federal, provincial and municipal governments in order to start up a new business by listing them all in one place, so the entrepreneur knows all the steps he or she needs to take to get a business up and running.
